NEA RA in New Orleans, LA

Several members from central Kentucky attended the NEA annual representative assembly. NEA's large democratic body  convenes to conduct the business of the organization each year during the first week of July. All KEA members are eligible to be either state or local delegates. Be sure to contact your local president to find out how you can be a delegate next year in Chicago, IL!

CD Local Leaders Retreat 2010

Local Presidents and officers from central Kentucky came to Natural Bridge for a 2-day retreat

Leaders from various locals in central Kentucky met in the beautiful setting of Natural Bridge State Park again this year for the annual training and fellowship event.

Attendees learned about new membership benefits, and were updated on current national, state, and regional education issues.  Staff and leadership worked together to discuss new ways of communicating better with local members and shared their own great ideas for helping school employees to be able to KEEP KENTUCKY LEARNING!

The KEA CD Board also met in Natural Bridge for 2 days to work and prepare for the upcoming school year.
